1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you") and RemoteStack ("we," "us," "our"). These Terms govern your use of the RemoteStack job board at remotestack.in, the AutoApply subscription service at remotestack.in/autoapply, and the RemoteStack MCP at mcp.remotestack.in (collectively, the "Services").

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our Services. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. We do not knowingly collect data from or provide services to individuals under the age of 18. If we become aware that a user is under 18, we will immediately terminate their account and delete associated data.

You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when registering or subscribing. You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of your account information.

3. Description of Services

RemoteStack Job Board is a free aggregation platform that collects and displays remote job listings from publicly available sources. Job listings are provided for informational purposes. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of any listing.

AutoApply is an AI-powered subscription service that matches your resume and preferences to relevant remote jobs and submits applications for you, each with a tailored cover letter, up to 20 applications a month. Before any applying starts, a member of our team rewrites your resume and sends it to you, and applying begins only after you sign off on that resume. There is no separate approval step for individual applications.

AutoApply is an assistive tool. Every application is prepared from the resume you sign off on and the profile information you give us, so you are responsible for their accuracy. We are not a recruitment agency and do not represent you to employers.

4. AutoApply Subscription Terms

AutoApply is offered as a recurring subscription, billed monthly (Starter) or every three months (Focused). By subscribing, you authorize us to charge the subscription fee to your chosen payment method at the start of each billing period until you cancel.

New subscriptions are billed by Dodo Payments, which acts as the merchant of record and may appear as the seller on your receipt and card statement. Prices are shown before tax: any GST, VAT or sales tax that applies where you live is added at checkout. Subscriptions you started earlier through Commet or Cashfree continue to be billed by that provider.

In India, renewals paid by card or UPI run on an RBI e-mandate. Your bank notifies you before each renewal is debited, and a renewal of ₹15,000 or more needs your approval in your bank's app. If a renewal is not approved or fails, the subscription is paused until payment goes through.

Subscriptions automatically renew each billing cycle. You may cancel at any time by contacting us at legal@remotestack.in. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to the service until the end of the period for which you have paid.

We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing with at least 14 days' notice delivered to your registered email address. Continued use of the service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

4A. RemoteStack MCP and Credits

The RemoteStack MCP lets AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT use RemoteStack inside a chat: search job listings, match jobs to your resume, check your resume, and draft a tailored resume and cover letter for a job. You connect it at mcp.remotestack.in/mcp and sign in with your email address. The MCP does not submit job applications.

Each MCP tool uses credits. The number of credits a tool uses is shown in that tool's description in your AI assistant. We may change these amounts; the current amount is always the one shown in the tool description. If a tool fails to return a result, it uses no credits.

• Free credits. Your first sign-in to the MCP includes $10 in free credit (1,000 credits), once per person. Free credits expire 30 days after they are granted. We may withhold or remove free credits where we reasonably believe they were obtained through disposable email addresses, multiple accounts, or other abuse.
• AutoApply allowance. While your AutoApply subscription is active, you receive 2,000 credits each calendar month. Unused allowance credits expire at the end of that month and do not roll over.
• Purchased credits. Credits you buy in a credit pack do not expire. When you use credits, free and allowance credits are used before purchased credits.
• No cash value. Credits have no cash value. They cannot be exchanged for money, transferred to another account, or resold, and they can only be used for the RemoteStack MCP.

Credit packs are sold at mcp.remotestack.in/buy. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as the merchant of record. Prices are shown before tax, and any tax that applies where you live is added at checkout. Packs bought earlier were processed by Commet (US dollars) or Cashfree (Indian rupees). Refunds of credit packs are covered by our Refund Policy. If a credit pack payment is refunded or disputed, the credits from that pack are removed from your balance, which may leave your balance below zero until you buy more.

Resumes, cover letters, match rankings and resume scores produced through the MCP are generated with AI from the information you provide. They are drafts: check them for accuracy before you use them. The MCP is instructed never to add experience, skills or figures that are not in your resume, but you remain responsible for everything you send to an employer. A resume you paste into the MCP is used for that request only and is not saved to your RemoteStack profile.

5. User Responsibilities

By using AutoApply, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information in your resume and profile. You warrant that all content you provide is your own work and does not infringe any third-party rights.
• Review the resume we prepare for you carefully before you sign off on it, and tell us promptly if your profile, preferences or circumstances change, since applications are prepared from them without further approval from you.
• Comply with the terms of service of any third-party platform to which applications are submitted for you.
• Not use the Services to submit applications for roles you are ineligible for or to misrepresent your qualifications.
• Not use the Services for any unlawful purpose, to harass employers, or to engage in any form of fraud.
• Maintain the security of your account credentials and notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

6. No Guarantee of Outcomes

We make no representations or warranties regarding employment outcomes. RemoteStack and AutoApply do not guarantee that use of the Services will result in job interviews, job offers, or employment. Hiring decisions are made solely by employers and are outside our control.

The number of applications assisted, the quality of matches, and the response rates from employers may vary based on your profile, market conditions, and factors beyond our control. We commit to providing the service as described but cannot guarantee specific results.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, copy, or republish job listings from the RemoteStack platform without permission.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Services.
• Use the Services in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our systems.
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent subscription limits or policies.
• Use the Services to upload or transmit malicious code or content.
• Resell or sublicense access to the Services without our express written consent.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on remotestack.in, including but not limited to design, text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of RemoteStack and protected under applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

You retain ownership of all content you submit to the Services, including your resume and profile information. By submitting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to use, process, and store that content to provide the Services to you and for the AI training purposes described below.

Anonymised data and AI training. We may use anonymised data derived from your use of the Services to train, evaluate and improve artificial intelligence models, including models we build ourselves or with partners. This can include your resume, profile, job preferences, and the matches, cover letters and other materials generated for you. Before any of it is used this way, we remove information that directly identifies you, such as your name, email address, phone number, postal address and links to your online profiles. Anonymised data no longer identifies you, so we may keep using it after you close your account. A resume you paste into the RemoteStack MCP is not saved and is not used for AI training.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, RemoteStack and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or employment opportunities, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Services.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to us in the three months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we reasonably believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, third parties, or the integrity of the Services.

Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India.

Before initiating formal legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes informally by contacting us at legal@remotestack.in. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes within 30 days.
