Connect RemoteStack to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or VS Code and ask for jobs in plain words. It searches about 50,000 live remote jobs pulled daily from company career pages, matches them to your resume, checks your resume, and writes a tailored resume and cover letter for the job you pick. Then you apply from the job's RemoteStack page.

Server URL

Remote MCP server over HTTPS. You sign in with your email the first time you connect (a one-click magic link), then approve the connection.

Set it up

Claude (claude.ai and the desktop app)

  1. Open Settings, then Connectors, and choose Add custom connector.
  2. Name it RemoteStack and paste the server URL above.
  3. Click Connect, enter your email, open the sign-in link in the same browser, and click Allow.
  4. In a new chat, ask for jobs. Claude will use RemoteStack when it helps.

Claude Code

claude mcp add --transport http remotestack https://mcp.remotestack.in/mcp

Then run /mcp inside Claude Code to sign in.

ChatGPT (desktop app)

  1. In the ChatGPT desktop app (it isn't available on the web yet), open Plugins, click Manage (the settings icon), then Add MCP server.
  2. Name it RemoteStack and paste the server URL above.
  3. A RemoteStack sign-in page opens in your browser: enter your email, open the sign-in link in that same browser, and click Allow.
  4. Back in ChatGPT, ask for jobs. It uses RemoteStack when it helps.

No paid ChatGPT plan is needed for this.

Any other MCP client that supports remote servers with OAuth sign-in works the same way: give it the server URL.

Questions

Does it apply to jobs for me?

No. It finds jobs and prepares your application: a tailored resume, a cover letter and the job link. You apply from the job's RemoteStack page. If you want applications sent for you, that is what AutoApply does.

Is my resume stored?

If you paste a resume into the chat, it is used for that request and not saved to your profile. If you have a RemoteStack account with a saved resume, the tools use that one when you do not paste another.

Will the tailored resume make things up?

It is instructed never to add experience, skills or numbers that are not in your resume, and it lists what the job asks for that your resume does not show instead. Read it before you send it: it is a draft, and you are the one applying.

Which AI writes the resumes and letters?

Your assistant (Claude, ChatGPT and so on) decides when to use RemoteStack. The resume parsing, scoring and writing inside RemoteStack runs on DeepSeek. See our privacy policy for details.
