About the role
Accountabilities
Run technical SEO audits, crawls, indexation checks, and log analysis using tools such as Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, and Semrush.
Identify and prioritize technical issues involving rendering, crawl budget, canonicalization, structured data, and other search-engine accessibility factors, then work with Engineering to resolve them.
Develop and optimize programmatic SEO strategies for scalable pages organized around roles, cities, companies, and other relevant search dimensions.
Determine which pages should be created, retained, consolidated, or removed, while monitoring indexing, rankings, conversions, and overall page quality.
Develop content strategies based on search intent and improve on-page SEO, internal linking, content freshness, E-E-A-T, and YMYL considerations.
Monitor organic visibility across traditional search engines and AI-powered search experiences, identifying opportunities to increase visibility in generated answers.
Track Google core and spam updates and diagnose their effects on organic performance.
Translate SEO requirements into clear product requirements documents and technical tickets with measurable acceptance criteria.
Partner with Product and Engineering teams to prioritize and deliver SEO improvements, including quality assurance before and after releases.
Collaborate across Product, Engineering, Design, PLG, and Sales Operations to identify growth opportunities and present solutions with clear effort, impact, and risk trade-offs.
Establish baselines, run SEO experiments, measure outcomes, document learnings, and continuously improve the organic growth roadmap.
2–3 years of relevant SEO experience, ideally supporting high-scale websites in B2B, SaaS, marketplaces, or similarly complex digital environments.
Strong practical knowledge of technical SEO, content and on-page SEO, and programmatic SEO.
Hands-on experience with Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, and Semrush.
Understanding of Google core and spam updates, including the ability to diagnose performance changes following major updates.
Knowledge of E-E-A-T and YMYL principles and their application to content strategies.
Strong analytical skills and experience measuring SEO performance through search, traffic, conversion, and business-impact metrics.
Experience writing PRDs, technical requirements, or actionable tickets that enable Engineering teams to implement SEO improvements.
Familiarity with AI, LLMs, scripting, or automation for SEO research, analysis, implementation, or quality assurance.
Ability to present concrete SEO case studies and clearly explain the problem, actions taken, rationale, and measurable results.
Strong problem-solving skills with a data-first approach: using search data, crawls, logs, analytics, and other evidence before recommending changes.
Ability to work independently, prioritize high-impact opportunities, and operate effectively across multiple teams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical SEO concepts and business implications clearly.
A structured experimentation mindset, including establishing baselines, measuring results, and documenting successes and failures.
Fully remote working arrangement from India.
