About the role
Position Summary
The Senior Manager/Associate Director, Commercial Operations will play a key role in preparing Acadia Pharmaceuticals Germany for the successful launch of a new rare disease product for Rett syndrome. This role will support commercial strategy, launch readiness, cross-functional execution, and performance tracking to identify, implement, and measure business opportunities in the German market.
Primary Responsibilities
- Support the development of launch strategy, commercial planning, and business planning for Germany.
- Define goals, strategies, tactics, and market analyses to maximize the potential of a new rare disease product for Rett syndrome.
- Oversee marketing and launch activities, including brand, marketing, PR, and digital plans; investment alignment; forecasting; demand planning; and launch execution.
- Track launch performance and support commercial and field force excellence initiatives.
- Coordinate cross-functional alignment across medical, marketing, PR, digital, market access, and reimbursement activities; assess market research and competitive benchmarks; and support the development of commercial materials for KAMs.
- Support customer-facing execution, CRM and territory management systems, ROI evaluation, budget allocation, sales targets, and incentive systems.
- Partner closely with the EU Commercial team and the GM Germany to ensure strong regional-country alignment on commercial priorities and projects.
- Operate in line with ethical standards and company procedures; actively participate in and lead local sales and marketing meetings and cross-functional project groups; and perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Education/Experience/Skills
Master’s degree in science, healthcare, business, or a relevant field required. The ideal candidate will bring a proven commercial track record in the pharmaceutical industry, with at least 5–7 years of experience in a specialty indication, such as neuroscience. Experience in a rare disease care environment is a clear advantage.
