Role Overview
Joining CBPL's UK Finance team, you'll be part of the engine powering smart growth through financial clarity. As a Senior Accountant, you'll own daily finance operations and have input into forecasts, scenario modeling, and turning raw data into board-ready insights.
As a member of the UK Finance team, you will play a pivotal role in scaling Coinbase's presence in the UK and wider EMEA region through new licence applications, new product launches and governance. You'll serve as a key partner to the UK Head of Finance, working operationally with cross-functional teams in the US, EMEA, and India to operationalize new business areas and review upcoming product launches.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures over platform accounting activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to operationalize new areas of the business and facilitate streamlined accounting transactions
- Analyze data against business drivers to identify trends and issues
- Provide support for internal and external audits related to specific areas of responsibility
- Maintain up-to-date process documentation and procedures
