Regulatory Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a Regulatory Engineer with a strong background in wireless or mobile technologies to support and advance our regulatory initiatives. This role involves preparing technical documentation, engaging with regulatory bodies including seeking regulatory authorizations, and advocating for technical rules that align with the organization's strategic goals in satellite and telecommunications across the globe in domestic and international bodies.

Key Responsibilities

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related technical field.

Experience

• Three to eight years of experience in technology, with a focus on wireless technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated interest in wireless technology.
• Knowledge of regional technology and policy issues for wireless and/or satellite companies.
• Technical expertise in satellite link budgets, mobile device standards, and wireless technologies.
• Understanding of spectrum and industry practices in wireless or satellite communications.
• Interest and/or experience working with regulators, policymakers, and government agencies.
• Willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time.

• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
