Role Overview

We’re hiring a DeFi Backend Engineer to help scale Paxos Labs’s DeFi infrastructure capabilities. The team builds DeFi infrastructure that reimagines on-chain liquidity strategies, delegating strategy and risk management to sophisticated offchain compute while maintaining strong onchain safety constraints.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a Quantitative Researcher to manage yield-generating portfolios across protocols and blockchains.
• Design and backtest algorithms to produce actionable DeFi portfolio insights.
• Automate complex onchain interactions via offchain services.
• Monitor data, forecast risk, and implement optimized entry and exit triggers.
• Maintain secure, reliable trading infrastructure.
• Build solvers for optimal routing across decentralized exchanges.
