This role is remote and requires occasional travel to any FreedomCare location nationally, when necessary.
Department & Position Overview

The Learning Experience Designer (LXD) is responsible for designing and delivering scalable, high-impact learning solutions that drive measurable behavior change and improve performance across FreedomCare’s workforce.
Helpful Context: This role partners closely with business leaders, subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams to translate operational needs into engaging, effective learning experiences. The LXD leverages modern instructional design practices, data insights, and emerging technologies—including AI—to build solutions that support compliance, enhance quality, and elevate the caregiver and employee experience.
Key responsibilities
Learning Design & Development
- Design and develop engaging, outcome-driven learning solutions across modalities (e-learning, instructor-led, virtual, blended, and microlearning).
- Create high-quality training assets including courses, videos, job aids, facilitator guides, assessments, and multi-day curricula.
- Apply adult learning principles and behavior change strategies to ensure learning translates into on-the-job performance.
Stakeholder Partnership & Needs Analysis
- Partner with stakeholders and SMEs to identify learning needs, define objectives, and align solutions to business goals.
- Conduct needs analyses to diagnose performance gaps.
