About This Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Controller, Revenue, to join our dynamic finance team. This is a critical role responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of our revenue recognition processes in a complex and rapidly evolving cryptocurrency environment.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of ASC 606 (or IFRS 15), strong process and analytical skills, and a passion for the digital asset space. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting as we continue to expand our innovative offerings.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the application of ASC 606/IFRS 15 to complex crypto-native transactions (e.g., spot trading fees, staking rewards, NFT royalties, etc.)
- Develop and maintain robust revenue recognition and reporting processes tailored to crypto products and services
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of revenue transactions in compliance with GAAP/IFRS and company policies
- Oversee month-end and quarter-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and data teams to ensure proper revenue accounting treatment for new product launches
- Identify and implement improvements to revenue systems, processes, and controls
