Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain animation systems for game characters and environments
- Collaborate with artists and designers to bring animations to life
- Optimize animation performance across platforms
- Implement and iterate on animation state machines and blend trees
Requirements
- Proven experience in animation engineering within game development
- Strong proficiency in C++ and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Lua)
- Familiarity with game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine
- Understanding of rigging, skinning, and animation pipelines
