About the role
The Role
As VP of Product Management, AI Security & Strategy, you own BeyondTrust’s AI security portfolio areas and serve as a principal leader of the broader product organization. You define multi-year strategy for the capabilities that matter most in the agentic AI era. You build and lead a team of senior product managers, partner with executives across engineering, marketing, and sales, and represent BeyondTrust externally at the highest level: with analysts, customers, boards, and at industry events. This is a role for someone who operates strategically, ships products hands-on, and commands a room.
What You’ll Do
- Own the vision, multi-year strategy, roadmap, and business success metrics for BeyondTrust’s AI security portfolio areas on the Pathfinder platform.
- Serve as a senior leader of the product organization, setting strategy across the portfolio, driving cross-functional alignment with engineering, GTM, and executive leadership, and stepping in as a principal external voice for the company.
- Lead, hire, and develop a high-performing team of product managers; set the operating model for discovery, roadmap, and delivery while remaining close to the most important work.
- Drive 0-to-1 product development and guide AI security capabilities from design-partner validation through GA, and build the repeatable motion for doing it again.
- Represent BeyondTrust externally as a credible, polished product leader: customer advisory boards, executive briefings, analyst days, and industry conferences.
- Own go-to-market strategy in partnership with Marketing, Sales, and SE leadership.
- Act as BeyondTrust’s senior internal and external authority on the agentic AI threat landscape, working hand-in-hand with Phantom Labs leadership and translating research into product decisions.
- Lead the design partner program and executive-level customer engagement with CISOs and security architects via advisory boards and analyst briefings.
- Shape competitive strategy across the identity security and agentic security landscape.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years in product management, security research, or technical strategy, with significant depth in cybersecurity, identity security, or cloud security.
- 5+ years of product leadership, including building and scaling teams; experience managing other managers preferred.
- Deep business acumen and operator experience. Candidate has run a product line, P&L, and go-to-market motion.
- You have shipped AI-native products where AI fundamentally changes the value proposition, not just products that use AI features.
- Exceptional executive presence and communication.
- Deep command of identity security: PAM, IAM, secrets management, workload identity, and NHI lifecycle management.
- Strong technical fluency in AI/ML systems and the agentic threat surface.
Nice To Have
- advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- Hands-on familiarity with agentic frameworks and the modern AI security stack (LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, Claude Agent SDK, or similar).
- Recognized external voice — conference keynotes, published research, or established analyst relationships.
- Familiarity with NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act, or SEC
