- Assess AI-generated, enhanced, and upscaled visual outputs against professional standards for image fidelity, consistency, realism, and production quality.
- Apply specialized knowledge of lighting, color, rendering, image formation, photographic quality, and visual perception when evaluating visual outputs.
- Identify subtle technical and perceptual defects that may be overlooked by less experienced reviewers.
- Develop and refine visual-quality evaluation frameworks, rating criteria, review templates, and guidelines to promote consistency across reviewers and challenging edge cases.
- Translate complex visual observations into precise, structured language suitable for evaluation datasets, annotations, captions, benchmarking, and quality-assessment workflows.
- Generate or curate visual samples for targeted testing, benchmarking, side-by-side comparisons, and model evaluation.
- Collaborate with other visual-quality specialists and program teams to establish and maintain consistent evaluation standards across images and video sequences.
- Review and compare visual outputs systematically, explaining why specific results meet or fall short of professional quality expectations.
- Contribute professional visual-production expertise to AI evaluation workflows involving image enhancement, upscaling, generative imagery, and video.
- Help identify emerging quality patterns and challenging visual edge cases that can strengthen future evaluation processes and benchmarks.
- 5+ years of professional experience in high-end visual production, evaluation, or image-quality assessment within film, VFX, animation, cinematography, rendering, or professional photography.
