Virtual CTE - IT Teacher - SY 26-27

ACCEL Schools is seeking a highly qualified Virtual CTE Information Technology Teacher for Pathfinder Career Academy that is dedicated to providing a superior education for all students in our 2026-2027 school year! We are seeking teachers who are excited to create a rigorous and nurturing classroom environment that prioritizes student learning, life skills, career-based interventions, and career development. ACCEL Schools uses a cutting-edge 21st-century curriculum, which can be accessed online and through a variety of traditional methods.

The Virtual CTE Information Technology Teacher effectively educates high school students in conformity with the school philosophy and policies and rules of the governing bodies.

Duties include:

• Serve as a teacher of record and primary instructor in the IT Pathway for students.
• Teach content area following the school’s course of study or as assigned utilizing technology and varying teaching modalities
• Oversee and deliver curriculum that aligns to Career-Technical Education standards.
• Plan and execute lesson plans that align with all necessary state standards
• Adapt and enrich the curriculum using multiple strategies and online tools in imaginative ways to actively engage students in their learning for enrichment or remediation purposes
• Align material to State CTE standards and or create course material aligned to applicable Webxams
• Initiate, recruit, and guide students through an active chapter of a CTSO
• Motivate students to achieve their full attendance, academic, and behavioral goals, as well as other goals identified
• Maintain a positive school environment through effective conflict resolution, collaboration, positive reinforcement, and educational leadership modeling
• Maintain a safe classroom environment
• Issue discipline in an orderly fashion conducive to good learning
