About the role

Accountabilities

    • Support the video function during a five-month temporary coverage period, ensuring priority projects continue progressing from intake through final delivery.
    • Manage day-to-day video project coordination across Brand Marketing, Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Events, Enablement, and other internal teams.
    • Scope incoming video requests by clarifying objectives, audiences, deliverables, timelines, priorities, and resource requirements.
    • Build and manage production schedules, track milestones, coordinate stakeholders, and identify potential delays, risks, or resourcing tradeoffs.
    • Oversee end-to-end production for a wide range of projects, including brand videos, product marketing content, paid and social cutdowns, internal communications, event content, demonstrations, and customer stories.
    • Partner with creative and brand stakeholders to ensure video content is polished, consistent, accurate, and aligned with established creative direction.
    • Coordinate external video, motion, animation, and production partners by providing briefs, assets, feedback, timelines, specifications, and other production requirements.
    • Review scripts, storyboards, rough cuts, motion graphics, captions, and final exports for storytelling quality, clarity, accuracy, pacing, and visual consistency.
    • Provide clear, actionable feedback to editors, animators, vendors, and internal collaborators throughout production and review cycles.
    • Support light post-production activities, including pulling selects, creating simple cutdowns, captioning, versioning, export preparation, and final asset organization.
    • Adapt existing video assets for different formats, audiences, platforms, and marketing channels.
    • Support occasional in-person production activities in the San Francisco Bay Area, including shoot preparation, shot lists, vendor coordination, stakeholder communication, and on-site production.
    • Maintain organized project files, asset folders, feedback threads, production documentation, and handoff notes to ensure visibility and continuity across the team.
    • Contribute to a collaborative, flexible, and solutions-oriented creative culture while maintaining high standards for quality and execution.
    • Requirements

      • 5+ years of professional experience in video production, creative production, branded content, post-production, or a related field.
      • Demonstrated experience managing video projects from initial brief through final delivery in a brand, agency, in-house creative, technology, SaaS, or marketing environment.
      • Strong understanding of complete video production and post-production workflows, including pre-production, production, editing, review cycles, versioning, captioning, exports, and final delivery.
      • Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple timelines, stakeholders, feedback rounds, and deliverables simultaneously.
      • Strong creative judgment across storytelling, pacing, visuals, music, motion, captions, and overall production quality.
      • Ability to provide precise, constructive, and actionable feedback to creative partners, editors, animators, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
      • Experience coordinating external production, animation, motion design, or freelance creative partners.
      • Hands-on familiarity with video and creative tools, particularly Adobe Premiere Pro, Frame.io, Figma, Google Drive, Slack, and project management platforms such as Asana.
      • Basic editing and post-production capabilities, with the ability to handle simple cutdowns, selects, captions, versioning, and exports when required.
      • Excellent communication, organization, prioritization, and follow-through skills, with the ability to keep projects moving independently.
      • Collaborative, flexible, low-ego approach and comfort working in a fast-paced, creatively driven marketing environment.
      • Local presence in the San Francisco Bay Area is preferred, or the ability to participate in occasional local production activities.
      • Experience with B2B technology, SaaS, developer tools, product marketing, or complex technical storytelling is a plus.
      • Familiarity with After Effects, Figma-based motion or design handoffs, and AI-assisted video tools is a plus.
      • Strong adaptability and willingness to work through changing priorities while maintaining a positive, solutions-focused mindset.
