As Vice President, Ecosystem Product (GM, Ecosystem), you will define and lead the strategy, product direction, and business impact of HubSpot’s ecosystem. You’ll own the builder & developer platform, app marketplace, and ecosystem experiences—turning them into a durable growth engine that drives acquisition, retention, and expansion. This is a high-impact leadership role where you’ll shape how developers, partners, and AI agents build on HubSpot for the next decade.
What You’ll Do
- Set and execute a multi-year vision for HubSpot’s ecosystem, spanning builder & developer platform, APIs, marketplace, and emerging AI-driven surfaces.
- Turn the ecosystem into a measurable growth engine by defining and owning metrics across adoption, retention, revenue influence, and partner success.
- Lead and develop a senior, multi-team product organization across platform, marketplace, and ecosystem experiences.
- Build a seamless developer experience by improving API/MCP quality, documentation, tooling, governance, and platform reliability.
- Define how builders, developers and partners build AI-powered apps, agents, and integrations within HubSpot’s platform.
- Drive a best-in-class marketplace experience that enables customers to discover, evaluate, and adopt ecosystem solutions.
- Partner cross-functionally with Developer Relations, Partnerships, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to embed ecosystem solutions into the flywheel.
- Establish operating models, decision frameworks, and execution cadences that enable fast, data-driven ecosystem innovation.
- Represent HubSpot externally with developers, partners, and industry leaders to shape ecosystem strategy and credibility.
What You’ll Bring
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of product management experience, including leadership of large, multi-team product organizations.
- Proven success building and scaling developer platforms, APIs, or app marketplaces at meaningful scale.
- Track record of turning ecosystems into growth drivers that impact acquisition, retention, or revenue.
- Strong perspective on AI, agents, and platform ecosystems, with experience applying these concepts in real products.
- Experience hiring, developing, and leading senior product leaders in high-performing organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders at the executive level.
- Data-driven approach to defining metrics, prioritizing investments, and driving outcomes.
- Ability to simplify complex systems into clear strategies and execute with focus and alignment.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience with CRM, marketing, sales, or service ecosystems.
- Background working closely with Developer Relations or similar functions.
- External-facing experience (e.g., public speaking, developer community engagement).
- Experience in high-growth SaaS environments where ecosystem strategy is core to differentiation.
Pay & Benefits
The cash compensation below includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restrict
