Role Overview
This is a fully remote, Tasmanian-based position suited to doctors who can commit to around 10 hours per week with flexible scheduling. Doctors blend evidence-based practice with innovative approaches to support thousands of patients across Australia.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality telehealth consultations across a diverse patient base, including patients under 25
- Manage clinical assessments, prescriptions (S4 & S8), and follow-up consults
- Work closely with nurses and doctor support teams to streamline care
- Maintain complete documentation and compliance in a digital-first environment
- Embrace digital tools to optimise patient outcomes and service efficiency
- Demonstrate commitment to patients and their ongoing care
Required Qualifications
- MBBS or equivalent with unrestricted AHPRA registration (Minimum PGY4)
- Excellent time management with ability to confidently manage 10 minute consults (4-6 patients/hour)
- Familiarity with privacy laws, RTPM, S8 regulation, and medico-legal obligations
- Strong clinical judgement with evidence-based and harm-reduction mindset
- Strong documentation and administrative skills
- Experience working with multiple digital platforms and navigating technology efficiently
- Punctual, reliable and responsive qualities with commitment to team collaboration and patient continuity
