About the role
Accountabilities:
- Serve as the primary initial point of contact for new customers throughout the technical implementation and setup phase.
- Lead customer kickoff calls, establish implementation timelines, communicate requirements, and manage follow-ups through completion.
- Configure and connect customer dealership management systems (DMS) and scheduling tool integrations, ensuring accurate technical setup.
- Troubleshoot initial scheduling and integration issues, identify configuration gaps, and implement appropriate solutions.
- Update customer configurations and process historical data through the platform’s backend systems.
- Schedule test appointments and conduct pre-launch checks to verify that integrations and configurations are working correctly.
- Launch customer locations so outreach and operational workflows can begin successfully.
- Maintain proactive communication with customers regarding timelines, deliverables, outstanding requirements, and next steps.
- Document technical setup procedures, workflows, and solutions to strengthen internal knowledge bases and implementation playbooks.
- Provide Customer Success with a comprehensive configuration summary and ensure a smooth, well-documented handoff following implementation.
- 2+ years of experience in technical onboarding, software implementation, project management, IT support, or a related technical customer-facing role, preferably within SaaS or automotive technology.
- Strong understanding of software configuration, APIs, integrations, and technical workflows.
- Familiarity with dealership management systems (DMS), automotive CRM platforms, or related dealership technology is a strong advantage.
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, including the ability to manage several customer setups and competing deadlines simultaneously.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment where priorities can evolve quickly.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, with a methodical approach to identifying and resolving technical issues.
- Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot is a plus.
- Ability to take ownership of implementation projects while collaborating effectively with Customer Success, Sales, vendors, and customers.
