About the Team
Stripe's Payments Experiences teams focus on empowering merchants to create delightful and highly optimized payment experiences. This involves Stripe's Payment Links, Elements, Checkout, and Terminal, which are reshaping online and in-person shopping. These products enhance convenience and security for consumers across numerous businesses, ultimately boosting conversion rates and lowering costs for merchants. The Technical Program Management (TPM) team collaborates closely with product, engineering, go-to-market teams, and customers to achieve the teams' most important objectives.
What You'll Do
Effective TPMs at Stripe bias towards driving the right solutions for users and internal stakeholders with a focus on delivering long-term impact for the product and Stripe. You will look ahead to enable teams to operate at their best and identify opportunities to eliminate unnecessary work. Payments Experiences is in early days, giving you significant influence on the product roadmap and technical direction.
Responsibilities
- Drive functional and technical delivery of key team, org, and company-wide initiatives
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design, scope, and shepherd features
- Create functional specs, project plans, and roadmaps
- Own and execute multiple software engineering programs simultaneously
- Help drive product decisions to align with higher company initiatives
- Influence peers and managers while building consensus and dealing with ambiguity
- Drive clarity across stakeholders on goals, problems, and outcomes
- Understand technical problems and work closely with engineering teams and technical systems to define effective solutions
- Bring rapid clarity to ambiguous situations, resolve them effectively, and enable teams to move toward implementation
