Responsibilities

• Design and build operational processes that protect businesses and users across Meta products
• Apply expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and data visualization to identify trends and implement solutions at scale
• Work with Engineering, Product, and Data Science teams to identify and build tools that improve performance of systems
• Anticipate and predict potential threats to operations and platform, design and build solutions to protect against these threats, and implement and enforce these systems at scale
• Perform statistical modeling and statistical regression analysis to construct business patterns and trends
• Build dashboards using Tableau and SQL to present business insight
• Plan and manage complex projects from initial ideation phase through final execution
• Proactively communicate regular updates, concerns, trends, and the impact of changes to all internal stakeholders
• Develop and deliver measurement and reporting to quantify the impact of all launches, and monitor and analyze product and operational health metrics
• Drive internal and external process improvements, solve workflow problems, and ensure internal tools and automation systems are fully leveraged

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Physics or related field
• Five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation
• Five years of experience dealing with complex, multi-faceted problems requiring creative and innovative solution development leveraging quantitative analysis and risk analysis
• Proficiency to handle advanced analysis with large data sets in SQL and Excel
• Experience with PHP, Python, or Perl
• Experience building data pipelines
• Experience with reporting systems, dynamic alerts, and data pipeline architecture
• Ability to rapidly assess, analyze, and resolve complicated issues, and distill complexity into simple and concise concepts
• Ability to prioritize, re-prioritize, and handle multiple competing priorities
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Unidash
• Ability to resolve and communicate issues with strong business presentation skills to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to solve problems using data and provide practical business insights
• Experience leading data-driven projects
