Tech Lead /Sr. Principal Engineer

Accountabilities:

• • Design, architect, develop, and own the end-to-end delivery of high-impact prototypes and production-ready technical solutions.
  • Lead technical direction for emerging technology initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to experiment with, validate, and integrate AI, machine learning, and other frontier technologies.
  • Translate early-stage concepts and ambiguous requirements into practical technical architectures and iterative solutions.
  • Leverage modern AI-assisted development approaches, advanced developer tools, Model Context Protocol (MCP), and large language models (LLMs) to accelerate experimentation and software delivery.
  • Establish strong engineering practices around code reviews, architecture, quality, governance, and continuous improvement.
  • Mentor engineers and technical peers, helping raise engineering standards, development quality, and technical capability across the team.
  • Communicate architectural decisions, technical trade-offs, project progress, and complex concepts clearly to executive stakeholders and engineering teams.
  • Work closely with cross-functional partners to rapidly prototype, test assumptions, incorporate feedback, and refine technical strategies.
  • Navigate changing requirements and market dynamics while maintaining momentum and making pragmatic technical decisions.
  • Take ownership of complex problems from initial concept through implementation, proactively identifying and resolving blockers without requiring extensive structural support.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative solutions that explore new possibilities in artificial intelligence, communications, and emerging technology.
  • Participate occasionally in in-person project, customer, or team meetings as required.

  Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 12+ years of professional software development experience with a strong track record of designing and delivering complex software systems.
  • Strong proficiency in modern programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, or Go, with the judgment to select the appropriate technology for each problem.
  • Experience developing applications using modern front-end or back-end frameworks such as React, Angular, Node.js, or Spring Boot.
  • Strong understanding of database technologies, including both SQL and NoSQL systems and the ability to determine the appropriate approach for different use cases.
  • Advanced experience with AI-assisted development and modern agentic coding workflows, including effective use of LLMs, developer productivity tools, and MCP.
  • Hands-on exposure to LLMs, artificial intelligence, machine learning concepts, or related projects is strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, particularly AWS or Azure, and distributed systems design principles.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to independently navigate ambiguity, remove blockers, and drive complex initiatives forward.
  • Strong technical communication skills, with the ability to facilitate high-bandwidth engineering discussions and explain complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven mentorship and technical leadership capabilities, with a collaborative approach to working across teams and disciplines.
  • Ability to rapidly learn unfamiliar technologies, iterate effectively, and develop pragmatic solutions to well-defined and emerging problems.
  • Passion for innovation, experimentation, and exploring technologies that can create new products and experiences.
  • Experience working effectively with remote or globally distributed engineering teams is advantageous.
  • Contributions to open-source projects or technical communities are a plus.
  • Must be based in one of the following Indian states: Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Maharashtra, or Delhi.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for project, customer, or team meetings.
