Team Lead Payments Operation

What We're Looking For

We are seeking a Team Lead of Payments Operations to drive our payment strategy and lead a high-performing team consisting of Operations Specialists and Risk Prevention Managers. In this role, you will be the driving force behind our payment ecosystem, collaborating with Product and Tech teams. You will oversee the entire transaction lifecycle—from optimizing routing and cascading strategies to managing fraud prevention and risk mitigation. Your goal is to ensure a seamless, secure, and cost-effective payment experience while supporting the professional growth of your team and maintaining high-level relationships with global payment providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, coach, and manage a team of Ops Specialists and Risk Prevention Managers; set clear goals, conduct performance reviews, and build a culture of continuous improvement.
• Strategic Goals Management: Take ownership of billing performance indicators, including global approval rates, chargeback ratios, fraud rates, and processing costs.
• Infrastructure Optimization: Oversee the design and implementation of scalable payment operational processes, including advanced routing, cascading logic, and intelligent retry strategies.
• Risk & Fraud Oversight: Collaborate with the Risk Prevention Manager to refine anti-fraud rules, minimize chargebacks and fraud, and ensure a balance between high conversion and security.
• Provider & Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for global payment providers and internal stakeholders.
