The Role

As Team Lead Controlling & Reporting, you will be responsible for the cost side of the P&L, lead our Controlling team, and build a scalable, data-driven control function. You will work closely with the business, think in structures and processes, and actively develop your team.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis

• Manage the cost side of the P&L, from OPEX to personnel costs and fixed cost developments
• Make cost drivers visible and controllable
• Create budget, forecast, and plan-actual comparisons and derive concrete action recommendations
• Own the forecast and budget process from planning through coordination with departments to final consolidation
• Prepare clear, understandable, and decision-relevant management reports

Processes & Projects

• Drive the fast close process actively to make numbers available faster
• Build and maintain our cost center structure in a clean, scalable, and growth-appropriate manner
• Further develop BI tools and dashboards and ensure transparent, current cost metrics
• Actively participate in enhancing our controlling processes and contribute to the finance project roadmap

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead the controlling team both professionally and administratively
• Provide guidance, prioritization, and active team development
• Serve as a sparring partner and mentor
• Create an environment where your team can work independently and make a real impact

Business Partnering

• Be the point of contact for department heads on cost-related questions
• Translate numbers into understandable action options
• Work closely with accounting, HR, and operations as the bridge between operations and finance
