Role Description
As a System Automation & Integration Engineer focused on the Corp IT Eng Org, you will be responsible for designing, building, and supporting real-time integrations using platforms such as Boomi, Workato, AWS, and Snowflake/Databricks, enabling seamless data flow across ERP, CRM, and HCM systems at Dropbox. You will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining integration flows, driving automation across enterprise applications, and building data pipelines that power analytics and insights.
Core responsibilities include designing and optimizing integration flows, monitoring system performance and reliability, resolving production issues through root cause analysis, and evaluating opportunities to improve scalability, automation, and overall efficiency. In this role, you will be instrumental in modernizing Dropbox’s enterprise integration and data platforms, gain substantial exposure to senior leadership, work with cutting-edge cloud and data technologies, and deepen your expertise in enterprise integrations across ERP, CRM, and HCM systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain real-time integrations using Boomi/Workato, ensuring seamless data exchange and synchronization across platforms in line with best practices.
- Develop and support integration flows, including managing and deploying APIs, leveraging iPaaS features, and integrating with enterprise systems such as Oracle Fusion, Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow, and other SaaS applications.
- Leverage common integration frameworks such as message queuing, caching, API management, and complex data mapping to enable scalable and reliable integrations.
- Utilize scripting languages and APIs (JavaScript, Groovy, REST, SOAP) while working with diverse data formats including XML, JSON, and CSV.
- Handle advanced integration scenarios involving SOAP, REST, XML, XSLT, WSDL, XSD, and JSON technologies to support complex business use cases.
- Implement secure authentication and encryption mechanisms (OAuth).
