About the role

Summary

Temporal underpins some of the most demanding, large-scale systems in production today. As adoption grows, customers increasingly rely on Temporal not just for correctness, but for performance, scalability, and global reliability at scale. We are hiring a Staff Technical Product Marketing Manager, Platform Infrastructure, to define and own how Temporal is positioned as a high-performance, globally scalable execution platform. You will translate deep infrastructure capabilities into clear, compelling narratives for platform engineers, architects, and technical decision-makers. This is a highly strategic, highly technical role with broad influence across product, engineering, and GTM.

This role reports to the Director of Product Marketing.

What You’ll Do

  • Own positioning & messaging for Temporal’s platform infrastructure capabilities - including performance, scalability, connectivity, replication, compute, and more.
  • Develop clear value propositions for how platform engineers and architects should consider running Temporal at massive scale.
  • Define and evolve the Temporal Nexus storytelling and shape how Nexus fits into the broader platform and architecture narratives.
  • Plan and execute product launches, announcements, and GTM campaigns related to Temporal's platform infrastructure capabilities.
  • Create high-quality external content including web pages, blogs, solution briefs, case studies, decks, and sales enablement materials.
  • Enable sales and solutions teams with messaging, pitch narratives, and objection handling.
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to influence product strategy based on market, customer and competitive insights.

Who You Are

  • Senior, strategic product marketer with experience owning end-to-end PMM for complex, technical products.
  • Comfortable marketing to highly technical audiences including developers, platform teams, and architects.
  • Able to translate technical concepts into crisp, differentiated messaging without oversimplifying
  • Strong storyteller who can create narratives that resonate with both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of influencing product direction and GTM strategy at a senior level
  • Highly collaborative, with experience working closely with product, engineering, and sales leadership.
  • Self-directed and comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
  • Detail-oriented in execution but able to think at the system and market level.

Compensation

  • The estimated pay range for this role is $185,000
