Role Overview
As a Staff Software Engineer on the Core Platform team, you'll drive technical strategy across infrastructure and security systems, abstractions, and paved roads that enable Vanta's entire engineering organization to build and ship products with velocity and confidence.
What You'll Do
- Lead strategic technical initiatives across infrastructure and security hardening
- Work closely with engineering leadership to shape technical direction for systems supporting enterprise customers
- Drive multi-quarter complex initiatives ensuring security, reliability, and developer productivity at scale
- Reduce cognitive load for product teams through strategic platform investments

The Core Platform team provides foundational infrastructure that powers all engineering at Vanta. As the company expands upmarket to support enterprise and regulated customers, the team is investing heavily in platform capabilities that scale securely while maintaining developer velocity.
