About the Role
The Platform Design and Research team plays a critical role in executing our vision to create economic freedom. You'll join our Financial Platform team to shape the next generation of internal financial infrastructure—the tools and systems that help Coinbase move, account for, and manage money safely and efficiently across products.
This is a 0-to-1 opportunity to establish a design standard for internal tools, an area that has historically lacked dedicated design support. As a Staff Product Designer, you'll lead design for financial tools that teams use to launch, operate, and monitor products safely and efficiently—including systems for ledgers, treasury, accounting, reconciliation, and fund allocation. Your work will set the blueprint for how internal platforms across Coinbase are designed, influencing not just Financial Infrastructure but future tooling for DevTools, Compliance, and beyond.
What You'll Do
- Contribute to the overall direction and decision-making for product and design strategy across Coinbase's financial infrastructure tools
- Own end-to-end design for high-impact features and net-new products, from discovery through launch
