Sr. QA Engineer

Role Description and Mission

We are seeking a results-oriented, passionate, and dynamic Senior QA Engineer to join our rapidly growing engineering team. In this role, you will be a critical part of the squad building Agero’s next-generation Swoop Platform, which utilizes short and long-term horizon optimizers to manage millions of roadside events annually.

As a key contributor in a fully remote environment, you will drive engineering excellence by ensuring we deliver high-impact software with consistency and quality. You will work on technically challenging problems involving platform and API design, mobile and web application development, and the validation of complex machine learning models.

Key Outcomes

• Develop and maintain robust automation frameworks and scripts across multiple projects. Write automation scripts according to established coding guidelines and conventions.
• Write and execute comprehensive test cases and plans using test management tools. Ensure QA test cases map directly to functional requirements and create the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM).
• Partner closely with the Product, Design, and Engineering teams to understand requirements, communicate QA status, and shape product roadmaps.
• Adhere to QA best practices by filing detailed bug reports with accurate reproduction steps, documentation, and screen recordings. Help identify and reproduce production defects.
• Own the end-to-end testing lifecycle of the platform and deliver high quality products.
