About the role

Accountabilities

    • Own the end-to-end planning and delivery of defined-scope medical, clinical, and commercial programs, from initial planning through execution and close-out.
    • Lead specific workstreams or components of larger, complex, multi-stream programs, ensuring milestones, timelines, budgets, and deliverables remain on track.
    • Translate client and internal objectives into clear, executable delivery plans, while monitoring progress and escalating risks, issues, and key decisions when appropriate.
    • Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for assigned programs or workstreams and support senior colleagues during client planning sessions and meetings.
    • Build and maintain effective working relationships with clients, healthcare professionals, vendors, partners, and internal stakeholders.
    • Coordinate with Client Partners, Scientific Partners, Program Management, Event Management, Creative, Content & Production, and other internal teams to ensure effective program delivery.
    • Provide clear briefs, requirements, timelines, and expectations to internal contributors and facilitate alignment throughout planning, rehearsals, and execution.
    • Track project budgets and timelines, support financial reconciliation and program close-out, and help ensure delivery remains within agreed scope and financial parameters.
    • Review program deliverables for accuracy, consistency, completeness, and quality, identifying potential issues early and developing practical solutions.
    • Apply established strategic execution processes, templates, and SOPs consistently across programs.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying more effective ways of working, sharing lessons learned, and supporting scalable and repeatable delivery practices.
    • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, quality, and continuous improvement across assigned programs and teams.
    • Requirements

      • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Arts, Science, or a related discipline, combined with at least 4 years of project management experience delivering medical events, medical education programs, training materials, or similar initiatives within an agency environment.
      • Demonstrated experience delivering medical, clinical, or commercial programs in an agency or comparable professional services environment.
      • Proven ability to independently manage defined-scope programs while contributing effectively to larger and more complex initiatives.
      • Strong project management capabilities, including experience managing timelines, budgets, milestones, dependencies, deliverables, and competing priorities.
      • Experience working directly with clients and developing confidence in client-facing communication and leadership situations.
      • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to manage delivery complexity while maintaining quality.
      • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and stakeholder communication skills.
      • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and build productive relationships across different functions and levels of seniority.
      • Demonstrated judgment in identifying risks, resolving issues, and determining when matters should be escalated to senior leadership.
      • A collaborative mindset with growing leadership capabilities and the ability to take ownership while supporting broader team objectives.
      • Comfortable working in a professional virtual environment and, depending on location and program requirements, participating in occasional in-person activities and onsite execution.
      • Willingness to travel when required to support program delivery.
