Sr Developer, ServiceNow HRSD

Accountabilities

• • Design, develop, configure, enhance, and maintain ServiceNow HRSD solutions that meet business requirements while following platform best practices and technical standards.
  • Partner with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into scalable, reliable technology solutions.
  • Provide technical estimates, timelines, delivery plans, and recommendations for ServiceNow HRSD initiatives.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert across HRSD capabilities, including Case Management, Knowledge Management, Employee Center Pro, Lifecycle Events and Journeys, HR integrations, and Employee Document Management.
  • Configure and support NowAssist, automation, AI-enabled self-service, and other capabilities designed to improve employee support and reduce manual HR processes.
  • Support the integration and optimization of Moveworks with ServiceNow HRSD, knowledge content, and HR workflows.
  • Develop and maintain integrations using ServiceNow APIs and technologies such as REST, SOAP, and JSON.
  • Perform testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization to ensure high-quality and reliable solutions.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing HRSD applications, resolving incidents and technical issues efficiently.
  • Identify opportunities to improve case deflection, workflow automation, process efficiency, and the overall employee experience.
  • Conduct training and knowledge-transfer sessions for end users and fellow developers.
  • Stay current with developments in ServiceNow HRSD, generative AI, automation, virtual agents, skills intelligence, and enterprise AI assistants, recommending improvements where appropriate.

  Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, combined with at least 5 years of relevant experience in ServiceNow development, configuration, and administration.
  • Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow HRSD capabilities, including Case and Knowledge Management, Employee Center Pro, Lifecycle Events and Journeys, HR integrations, Employee Document Management, and related workflows.
  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow scripting and web technologies, including JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, CSS, and XML.
  • Experience working with ServiceNow APIs and integration technologies such as REST, SOAP, and JSON.
  • Experience with ServiceNow development and automation tools, including Workflow Studio, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and Automated Test Framework.
  • Experience with ServiceNow AI capabilities, particularly NowAssist for HRSD, and an understanding of how generative AI can improve employee self-service, case deflection, and HR service delivery.
  • Familiarity with Moveworks or similar enterprise AI assistant platforms is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of automation, virtual agents, skills intelligence, and emerging technologies applied to HR service delivery.
  • ServiceNow System Administrator and ServiceNow Application Developer certifications are preferred.
  • ServiceNow HRSD Implementation Specialist certification is an additional advantage.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities effectively, and collaborate successfully within cross-functional teams.
