About the Role
The Senior Advertising Manager's primary responsibility is to work client-facing, with a specific book of commerce clients to create, manage, optimize, report on, and present full funnel marketing campaigns. In this role, you will work directly with a variety of large Brands across multiple global Amazon markets and different product categories. You will also play a major role in crafting budget strategies, driving sales and enhancing brand awareness on Amazon, Walmart and other commerce platforms.
Responsibilities
- Own Amazon search and display (DSP/OTT) performance advertising for an assigned set of clients
- Create, implement, manage, and report on advertising strategies that align with client goals
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maximize performance for the client's business
- Proactively research industry trends and best practices and communicate internally to knowledge share
- Engage frequently and professionally with clients via email/slack, phone, and in-person video meetings
- Strategic thinking, detail oriented execution, and insightful data analysis to identify areas of opportunity and deliver sales-driving initiatives
- Utilize Amazon Attribution and Amazon Marketing Cloud to gain additional insights to increase performance
- Mentor more junior Advertising Managers
Required Qualifications
- Amazon Performance Advertising experience with knowledge of developing strategic full funnel strategies to grow brands
- 4+ years' experience with Amazon digital advertising; with an emphasis on paid search and display advertising
- Strong large-client facing experience
- Amazon advertising accreditation at the date of hire or commitment for accreditation within 30 days of hire
- Experience with Amazon SaaS Advertising Technologies
- Advanced understanding of PowerPoint, Excel, and Word or Google Slides, Docs and Sheets
- Excellent attention to detail and accomplished verbal and written communication skills
- Analytical and strategic capabilities
- Multitasking expertise with the ability to organize projects and establish priorities
Preferred Qualifications
- Agency experience with a focus on Amazon programmatic display advertising, Amazon Demand Side Platform and Amazon search
- Adept at learning new software programs and tools and incorporating AI into workflows
- Experience using bid management tools
- Additional marketplace experience such as Walmart, Target, Instacart
