About the role

Accountabilities:

    • Develop, enhance, maintain, and support backend services using IBM ITX Design Studio, Command Server, Launcher Services, and Design Server.
    • Engage with business stakeholders and users to understand requirements, clarify needs, and conduct comprehensive requirements analysis.
    • Design and implement business logic while following secure coding practices, organizational security standards, and established development guidelines.
    • Contribute to solution architecture, application design, development, configuration, and static analysis activities to ensure quality and maintainability.
    • Ensure applications and integrations meet performance, scalability, security, reliability, and operational requirements.
    • Develop and maintain test plans and test cases, identify appropriate testing stakeholders, and analyze test execution results.
    • Produce clean, maintainable, reusable, and testable code while supporting ongoing script enhancements and maintenance activities.
    • Support EDI and API integration initiatives, incorporating regular user and stakeholder feedback to drive continuous improvement.
    • Configure and support B2Bi integrations and trading partner onboarding activities.
    • Support integrations in Linux environments, including troubleshooting, system monitoring, and detailed log analysis.
    • Prepare technical documentation covering interface specifications, functional and non-functional requirements, application architecture, and integration details.
    • Document software architecture, application design, component integration processes, testing activities, and results.
    • Support training and knowledge transfer for team members on applications, new features, and enhancement releases.
    • Generate technical and operational reports for stakeholders and participate in internal or external compliance audits when required.
    • Collaborate with external partners and cross-functional technology teams to resolve issues and deliver integration solutions within agreed timelines.
    • Requirements:

      • Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience developing EDI integrations using IBM Transformation Extender (ITX/WTX).
      • Strong expertise with IBM ITX/WTX, including Design Studio, Command Server, Launcher Services, and Design Server.
      • Proven experience with EDI standards and data formats including ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, JSON, CSV, and SOAP/XML.
      • Demonstrated experience supporting the full lifecycle of B2Bi integrations, including trading partner onboarding, implementation, production support, troubleshooting, and enhancements.
      • Hands-on experience with Linux administration, troubleshooting, system monitoring, and log analysis.
      • Experience using Git for version control and familiarity with Jenkins and CI/CD practices.
      • Strong understanding of integration architectures and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.
      • Experience working directly with business stakeholders, external partners, and cross-functional technology teams.
      • Strong communication, documentation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
      • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and remain effective in a fast-paced environment.
      • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to developing secure, reliable, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
      • Familiarity with Axway B2Bi and API Gateway is advantageous.
      • Experience with Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms is a plus.
      • Previous experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain management, or a related domain is preferred.
