The Role

With the growth of the iOS app, ranked #18 in the App Store productivity category, we're seeking a Senior iOS Engineer to support the growing user base and work on new projects to advance our mission. This is a key role ideal for someone who thinks strategically, enjoys fast-paced environments, is passionate about making product decisions, and has experience building great user experiences.

What You'll Do

• Lead key engineering and product decisions
• Actively ship production code for the Speechify iOS app
• Work within a dedicated product team
• Participate in product discussions to shape the product roadmap
• Maintain and enhance the existing complex app architecture

Ideal Candidate

• Experience working on products that scaled to a large user base
• Track record of working on various products from inception to traction
• Been responsible for engineering products
• Customer obsession and focus on providing the best possible experience
• Product thinking and thoughtful decision-making about product evolution
• Speed in generating ideas and knowing which things can ship now versus later
• Ability to engage or focus as needed in a high-growth startup environment

Technical Requirements

• Swift programming language
• SwiftUI experience
• Multithreading programming experience
• CI/CD infrastructure experience
