Software Engineer - Infrastructure

Overview

Modern Treasury is expanding deeper into money movement. You'll help design, deploy and operate the infrastructure that makes this possible. This is a hands-on devops role with strong ownership over infrastructure architecture and platform automation.

About the Role

This role sits at the intersection of infrastructure, platform engineering and security. You'll define how Modern Treasury scales and operates our infrastructure, and guide teams toward cohesive architectural patterns.

You will set direction and build for infrastructure systems that support:

• Multi-rail money movement
• Real-time payment flows
• Ledger-backed transaction processing
• High-availability payment orchestration

This is a senior individual contributor role with broad influence across Product, Platform, and Infrastructure teams.

What You'll Do

• Lead architecture for AWS infrastructure, container orchestration, and CI/CD to support scalable payment systems
• Standardize automation and infrastructure-as-code to provision, scale, and operate high-volume ledger and transaction platforms
• Reduce operational overhead through tooling, streamlined workflows
