Software Engineer, Golang (Guru Apps)

About the Role

We are looking for a Software Engineer (Go) at Guru Apps (Universe Group) - a product iOS ecosystem with 100M+ downloads in 186 countries (Cleaner Guru, Scan Guru, Visify) with a 4.6 average rating on the App Store.

This is a role focused on progressive development, as almost all new backend services and products in the ecosystem are launched on Go - with powerful high-load in production, complex business logic and direct impact on a million-strong audience.

Responsibilities

• Develop new backend services on Go for products with a global audience and work with Core systems used by all products in the ecosystem
• Design high-load solutions and see how they really live in production - from the first release to scaling under million-user loads
• Have full engineering ownership - from architectural decisions to releases, stability and further evolution of services
• Develop technical expertise working with high-load architecture and modern stack (Go, Kubernetes, AWS, Prometheus, OTEL), implementing best practices in backend development
• Have real impact on the product - we value engineering insights and technical proposals, and the result of your work is directly reflected in products with a million-strong audience
