About the Role
As Social Media & Community Manager, you will be the primary voice of UpGuard across the digital landscape, sitting within the high-impact Demand Gen functions. Reporting to the Director of Brand & Content, you will be responsible for strategic direction and daily execution of UpGuard's presence on LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and YouTube.
Your role is pivotal in bridging the gap between technical product capabilities and brand identity, ensuring UpGuard is respected as a thought leader. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Campaigns, Product, and Design to support the broader marketing engine.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media roadmap across LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, and X, with primary focus on LinkedIn and YouTube
- Own the master social media calendar to ensure cohesive, high-signal narrative across all channels
- Strategically sequence content to prevent noise and ensure product updates, thought leadership, and culture stories align into a unified brand experience
- Execute strategic roadmap for LinkedIn and YouTube optimized for video content distribution
- Humanize the brand and scale reach to nurture prospects through the funnel
- Build a vibrant community of cybersecurity professionals
Marketing Team
The Marketing team at UpGuard includes Product Marketing, Demand Gen, Marketing Ops, Content Marketing, SEO, Community, Design, and Video functions. The team's purpose is to grow UpGuard with a repeatable, scalable marketing engine and leading brand presence in Cyber VRM and Attack Surface Management markets.
