(Senior) Technical Product Owner (m/f/d) REMOTE

About the Role

As a (Senior) Technical Product Owner, you will maximize product value by translating business and customer needs into clear, technically sound requirements that enable high-quality delivery. You will ensure alignment between product vision and engineering execution by balancing value, feasibility, and long-term technical sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and prioritize the product backlog, translating business objectives and stakeholder needs into clear, technically precise user stories
• Act as the primary interface between engineering teams and business stakeholders, ensuring shared understanding and fast decision-making
• Define functional and non-functional requirements (e.g. performance, scalability, security, data quality) and ensure they are met
• Support technical design and architectural discussions by assessing feasibility, dependencies, and trade-offs
• Lead backlog refinement, support planning, and ensure high-quality delivery through clear acceptance criteria and reviews

Required Experience & Skills

• Several years of experience as a Product Owner, Technical Product Owner, or Technical Product Manager
• Strong technical background with the ability to understand system architecture, APIs, data flows, and software design concepts
• Proven ability to translate complex business or domain requirements into implementable technical solutions
• Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences, with a structured and pragmatic mindset
• Comfortable working independently in a remote, cross-functional setup and taking ownership end-to-end
