About the role
Accountabilities:
- Create high-quality technical product marketing assets, including solution briefs, technical blogs, product documentation support, webinars, presentations, demo scripts, customer enablement materials, and competitive positioning content.
- Partner closely with Product Management and Engineering to understand product capabilities, technical architecture, roadmap priorities, and customer use cases.
- Translate complex cybersecurity concepts into accessible, compelling messaging tailored to practitioners, technical decision-makers, and executive audiences.
- Support Sales and Customer Success teams with technical messaging, enablement materials, customer presentations, and resources that strengthen enterprise sales and adoption.
- Develop and deliver technical demonstrations, webinars, workshops, and presentations for customers, prospects, partners, and industry audiences.
- Represent the organization externally at customer meetings, conferences, industry events, and cybersecurity community engagements.
- Gather customer feedback, field observations, and practitioner insights and translate them into actionable input for product strategy and positioning.
- Contribute to technical thought leadership initiatives and strengthen visibility within the broader cybersecurity community.
- Collaborate across technical and business functions to ensure messaging accurately reflects product capabilities while clearly communicating customer value.
- Help develop differentiated technical and competitive narratives that position security solutions effectively throughout the customer journey.
- 5+ years of professional experience in the cybersecurity industry.
- Strong background in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Technical Account Manager, Technical Support Engineer, Customer Success Engineer, Security Consultant, or a comparable practitioner position.
- Demonstrated experience creating customer-facing technical content, presentations, demonstrations, or educational materials.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to make sophisticated technical topics clear and engaging.
- Strong presentation and public-speaking capabilities, including confidence communicating with both technical practitioners and executive stakeholders.
- Ability to understand complex cybersecurity technologies and translate their capabilities into relevant customer outcomes and business value.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and enthusiasm for sharing technical knowledge with customers and the broader security community.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with Product, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing teams.
- Experience supporting enterprise sales cycles, technical evaluations, or customer adoption initiatives is preferred.
- Product Marketing or Technical Marketing experience within a cybersecurity organization is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with modern security domains such as cloud security, identity and access management, endpoint security, threat detection and response, security operations, and Zero Trust architectures is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with cybersecurity platforms, tools, or operational environments is beneficial.
- Experience developing webinars, technical demos, or conference presentations is a plus.
