About the role
Your mission
- You act as the CoE's key user for supply, production, and inventory planning modules within our Advanced Planning System, monitor planning parameters, master data quality and system configuration, and drive issue resolution together with IT
- You support the enablement of our APS by contributing to blueprinting, defining functional requirements, supporting deployment, and tracking value realization
- You co-design and document the end-to-end operating model for Supply Planning processes, including constrained planning rules, planning fences, exception logic, and frozen-window policies
- You own inventory policy frameworks, including service policy design, stock segmentation, safety stock targets, and replenishment parameters, and translate them into playbooks and SOPs for the planning community
- You define supply-side KPIs (service, plan adherence, capacity utilization, inventory turns, SLOB, and schedule adherence), develop dashboards and performance reports, analyze service and supply failures, identify exception trends, and provide actionable recommendations to planners and leadership
- You build scenario analysis templates, contribute to training, capability building, and adoption, maintain data stewardship standards, and identify gaps between intended process design and actual planning behavior
Your experience & skills
- You have 3–5 years of hands-on experience in supply, production, or inventory planning, preferably in FMCG, manufacturing, or adjacent industries
- You have proven experience with an Advanced Planning System such as o9, SAP IBP, Kinaxis, or a comparable solution; super-user or configuration experience is strongly preferred
- You have a solid understanding of supply planning fundamentals, including RCCP/MRP/MPS logic, constrained planning, inventory optimization, and replenishment principles
- You are highly analytical and confident working with Excel as well as at least one BI tool such as Power BI, Tableau, or a comparable solution
- You are able to write clear process documentation and translate data into actionable recommendations for both planning and non-planning audiences
- You communicate clearly with different stakeholders, work in a structured way, and contribute to a cross-functional CoE that sets standards rather than operating as an additional planning layer
