Senior Student Program Manager
About the role
About the Team
AlphaSense Marketing is a revenue-focused team that encompasses demand generation, product marketing, corporate communications, PR/AR, brand, customer marketing, content marketing, and experience marketing. At our core, we fuel AlphaSense's growth by contributing to pipeline and revenue, developing a brand that is widely known to the markets we serve, and encouraging user engagement both within our product and with our brand.
The Student Program sits within Marketing and is one of our highest-conviction long-term pipeline investments. We provide complimentary platform access to students at 30+ leading MBA programs and financial education organisations, building relationships with the next generation of buy-side professionals before they enter the workforce. This role owns that program end-to-end.
About the Role
AlphaSense is seeking a strategic, organised, and commercially minded Student Program Manager to own and grow the AlphaSense Student Program. This is a new role created to transition program ownership from Strategic Initiatives to Marketing, and to take the program from a well-built foundation to a fully operational growth channel.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the program, including managing school relationships, overseeing user activations and deactivations, executing partnership agreements, and building the student communications infrastructure that does not yet exist. You will also work closely with Demand Generation and Sales to develop the post-graduation pipeline: the mechanism by which today's students become tomorrow's enterprise customers.
The ideal candidate has experience managing university or professional community partnerships in a B2B or SaaS environment, is comfortable operating across Sales, Marketing, RevOps, and CS stakeholders, and understands the long-cycle, relationship-first nature of building a talent and pipeline program. Reporting to the Senior Director of Strategic Marketing Programs, this role is ideal for a program manager with 5-8 years of relevant experience.
What You’ll Do
Program Operations
- Own the end-to-end student activation and deactivation cycle. You are the accountable owner of this process, coordinating with and overseeing the work of Revenue Operations to ensure new cohorts are provisioned each semester and graduating classes are deactivated on schedule.
- Serve as the primary point of coordination with RevOps for all student account activity.
