Role Overview: This is a Solution Engineering role typically 70% office or remote working in the regional country you are aligned to, supporting sales and channel technical activities and up to 30% traveling. The ideal candidate must have proven hands-on experience in cyber security products, excellent communication, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactive leader of technical discovery conversations to qualify and validate customer requirements and use cases to build out a bill of materials that meets customer needs and aligns to desired outcomes
  • Conduct technical sales presentations, product and solution demonstrations across SonicWall portfolio
  • Talk to and demonstrate SonicWall unique value proposition and know key competitive offerings
  • Build and maintain at least 10 trusted relationships with channel partners
  • Build and maintain personal lab for common demo requests and personal development
  • Support remote partner product trials
  • Technical lead for proof of concepts with partners or direct with customers
  • Participate in beta testing and product feedback alongside product management teams
  • Team with support where necessary to preserve relationships
  • Support key technical marketing initiatives, build collateral, present at virtual or external events
  • Develop expertise to PoC level in 3-6 SonicWall product areas and act as subject matter expert for region
  • Share best practices with peers
  • Provide support for onboarding new solutions engineers
  • Keep regional sales informed of roadmap insights, product updates and technical best practices
  • Adhere to company values, guidelines, and solution engineering regional reporting tasks
