About the role
Position Description
Ardent is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to join the team. The Senior Solution Architect is responsible for driving multiple customer solution design projects in parallel; conducts business and technical discovery with customers; finds novel solutions, architectures and use cases to help customers meet their objectives; provides robust recommendations for engagements while also identifying critical dependencies and gaps. Presents proposals to senior leadership in a clear and compelling way; has a balance of business and technology acumen, including ability to articulate high-level technical solutions to business problems and to tie solutions to program success criteria. Capable of independently applying a wide set of engineering disciplines for planning, design, analysis, coding, testing, roll-out and support of information systems architectures. Responsible for the designing of interface standards, quality assurance standards, performance standards, and cost-benefit analysis of modern state-of-the art information systems; analyzes available technologies and makes recommendations of technologies to use and how best to use them.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Lead architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise-scale technology solutions.
- Conduct business and technical discovery sessions with stakeholders to identify requirements and solution strategies.
- Develop solution architectures supporting cloud-native, hybrid, and enterprise application environments.
- Provide technical leadership throughout the full software development lifecycle, from planning and design through deployment and support.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations regarding adoption of new tools, platforms, and methodologies.
- Support modernization initiatives involving cloud engineering, containerization, microservices, DevSecOps, and platform automation.
- Design solutions utilizing multiple data stores, including relational and NoSQL technologies.
- Develop architecture standards, interface standards, performance standards, and quality assurance practices.
- Support implementation of enterprise data architecture, data governance, and metadata management strategies.
- Provide guidance regarding data integration, data conversion, and enterprise information architecture initiatives.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and business teams to ensure successful implementation.
