Their developed systems combine sensors, embedded hardware, data platforms and modern web technologies, with core expertise in capturing, processing, analyzing and visualizing large amounts of sensor data.

Responsibilities

• Architecture and development of distributed backend systems for processing and archiving sensor data (e.g., Python, MongoDB, MQTT, RabbitMQ)
• Design and implementation of scalable data pipelines and data platforms
• Development of modern Angular-based web applications for visualizing large data volumes as well as CI/CD pipelines and container infrastructure (GitLab, Docker)
• Development and integration of embedded and edge systems (e.g., NVIDIA Jetson, Raspberry Pi)
• Building and further development of existing software architecture and development processes
• Planning and implementation of automated testing and quality assurance processes

Requirements

• Experienced software engineer with systems understanding in frontend, backend & distributed systems
• Experience developing complex software systems and strong interest in technically demanding development projects
• Very good programming skills in Python
• Experience with MQTT, RabbitMQ, MongoDB, Angular, TypeScript, DevOps, Git, CI/CD, etc.
• Experience with automated software testing
• Experience with Linux-based systems such as Jetson or Raspberry Pi
• Very good German and English language skills
