The Role in One Sentence

You have a hunter mentality and win new revenues from FMCG brands by selling integrated shopper activation campaigns: coupon-driven conversion and measurable sales lift, ideally expanded with in-store screen presence.

What You Sell

  • A combined product of digital in-store visibility (screens at entrance, aisle, checkout), activation at the point of sale (via coupons), and closed-loop measurement based on real checkout data (instead of isolated ad spaces or detached coupons)
  • Campaigns that connect three logics for the customer: brand reach, sell-through, and category relevance
  • 360-degree activation that goes beyond the store: (re)targeting in CTV and other offsite channels as an extension of the in-store campaign
  • Concrete proof points from pilot projects: e.g., 9% uplift at store level, 20% in selected categories

Who You Sell To

  • Directly to FMCG brands
  • Contacts typically come from Brand and Media (planning and buying) and manage three budget pools with different goals, approval logics, and success metrics

Your Responsibilities

  • Build, develop, prioritize, and manage your own pipeline with a reliable forecast
  • Win new clients and stakeholders (horizontal and vertical) and develop customers into recurring partners
  • Own the full sales cycle: initial approach, qualification, needs analysis, proposal, negotiation, and closing. Handover to AdOps team upon closing
  • Translate client goals into media and activation concepts: touchpoints, reach, target groups, mechanics (cashback, free trial, category triggers), measurement approach
  • Use sales lift data and pilot results as proof points in pitches to turn initial test budgets into high recurring volumes
  • Clearly differentiate VRM from competing retail media formats
  • Bring market feedback into product, pitch, and strategy
