Role Summary
Maven is looking for a Senior Sales Director, Labor who will spearhead Maven's expansion into the Taft-Hartley market. In this individual contributor role, you will be responsible for generating net-new pipeline, building relationships with key Labor stakeholders, and closing complex multi-employer deals — all in service of bringing Maven's industry-leading women's and family health platform to union members and their families who need it most. You will report to the VP of Sales and work cross-functionally with Client Success, Marketing, and Product to position Maven as the go-to women's and family health partner for Labor funds across the country.
As a Senior Sales Director, Labor at Maven, you will:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the Taft-Hartley market — owning pipeline generation, deal progression, and bookings targets from prospecting through close, while navigating the unique governance structures of multi-employer health & welfare funds
- Build and deepen a robust network of relationships with key Labor stakeholders — fund administrators, union trustees, benefits consultants, and brokers — serving as a trusted advisor who understands the collective bargaining landscape and can communicate Maven's clinical and financial value at every level
- Collaborate closely with Client Success, Marketing, and Product to surface market feedback, support RFP/RFI responses, refine Maven's Labor positioning, and ensure seamless handoffs from sale to implementation
- Represent Maven at key Labor industry conferences, trade shows, and fund events to build brand awareness and source new opportunities in the segment
- Be a thought leader and champion for the Labor market internally, sharing intelligence from the field to help Maven continuously sharpen its value proposition and go-to-market approach
