What you’ll need:
- Experience recruiting different levels of talent.
- Proven track record of success with a variety of recruiting methods including direct sourcing, e-recruiting and traditional methods
- An ability to maintain composure in demanding situations
- Assisting the Hiring Manager or Executive Recruiter with recruitment duties.
- Reviewing available positions and candidate requirements.
- Communicating with the HR team.
- Posting job applications on social media and job sites.
- Tracking open positions using recruiting software.
- Assisting the hiring team in screening candidate résumés.
- Contacting candidate references and verifying education requirements.
- Conducting initial phone screenings.
- Communicating with candidates and setting up interviews.
- Managing the résumé database
Bonus points for:
- Experience with both 3rd party (agency) and internal recruiting at the corporate level
- Experience recruiting in the Construction industry
- Being active in your community
- Proven track record of success with a variety of recruiting methods including direct sourcing, e-recruiting and traditional methods
- Experience with Applicant Tracing Systems
- Negotiation and influencing skills
- A highly ethical demeanour and an ability to deal with confidential issues with tact & discretion
