About the role

About Us

Raptor was founded in 2002 with the mission to protect every child, every school, every day. Today, Raptor is a school safety partner for 60,000 schools in 55 countries, providing SaaS and mobile technology as well as comprehensive training and consultation solutions across the entire school safety life cycle, ranging from crisis prevention and preparation to emergency response and recovery. Raptor’s globally integrated product portfolio supports a school’s foundation of safety and wellbeing, including Emergency Management, Campus Movement, Student Wellbeing and Safety Training and Compliance.

About the Role

Raptor Technologies is making a significant and intentional investment in EventSafe, our K–12 school events management platform — and we’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to grow and lead the expanded team. EventSafe is one of our highest-priority growth products, with a clear path to becoming a multi-million-dollar revenue line. We are adding substantial engineering resources, sharpening our go-to-market focus, and making this a strategic centerpiece of our product portfolio. This hire is central to that effort.

This is a high-ownership, high-visibility role with real executive attention behind it. You will own the full product lifecycle for EventSafe — driving strategy, roadmap, and execution — with the resources and organizational commitment to match. The ideal person brings deep expertise in events management technology, online ticketing and ticket sales platforms, and mobile app development, along with a sharp understanding of how K–12 schools run events.

What does success look like? In the first six months, we expect this person to have a deep command of the market, a clear point of view on the roadmap, and strong working relationships with engineering, sales, and customers. By twelve months, we expect measurable progress on revenue growth, a well-functioning delivery cadence with our engineering team, and a product that is earning recognition in the K–12 events space.

Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Own and evolve the EventSafe product strategy, roadmap, and vision aligned with Raptor’s revenue goals and K–12 market needs
  • Define short-, mid-, and long-term roadmap horizons, communicating priorities clearly to engineering, sales, marketing, and executive leadership
  • Identify and evaluate new product opportunities in school events management, including ticket sales, access control, capacity management, and mobile attendee experiences
  • Identify and evaluate cross-product opportunities to leverage other Raptor K–12 school safety products within the EventSafe platform
  • Leverage AI-assisted product development lifecycle (AI-PDLC) practices throughout discovery, planning, and delivery — using AI tooling to accelerate research, requirement development, prioritization, and decision-making

Customer & Market Engagement

  • Work directly with K–12 school administrators, athletic directors, activities coordinators, and other end users to deeply understand their needs for managing school events — from athletic competitions to performances to fundraisers
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research across events management, ticketing platforms (both K–12-specific and general-purpose), and mobile event apps
  • Partner with Product Marketing to understand market direction, competitive forces, and go-to-market strategy
  • Leverage customers and prospects as active feedback partners on priorities, requirements, and product design
