About the role

Accountabilities

    • Own and author High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation for integration solutions.
    • Create UML sequence, flow, and component diagrams using Draw.io or equivalent tools.
    • Define solution architecture, integration patterns, and technical approaches while clearly communicating design decisions and trade-offs.
    • Apply established software and enterprise integration design patterns consistently across solutions.
    • Design reliable event-driven and messaging architectures using patterns such as retries, dead-letter queues, idempotency, and circuit breakers.
    • Design and develop APIs, integration solutions, and workflows using C#/.NET Core and API-led architecture.
    • Implement asynchronous, event-driven, and messaging-based integration patterns.
    • Apply API design best practices, including contract-first development, versioning, and security, and manage APIs through Azure API Management.
    • Design and optimize serverless workloads using Azure Functions, considering scalability, performance, and cost.
    • Optimize database performance through indexing strategies, execution-plan analysis, and query tuning across Azure SQL and Entity Framework.
    • Enhance and maintain existing systems and interfaces while ensuring adherence to coding standards and secure development practices.
    • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and manage source code through Git-based workflows.
    • Support automated deployments across development, testing, and production environments.
    • Participate in PI Planning, sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, estimation, and capacity planning.
    • Maintain accurate delivery tracking and ensure work remains up to date in Jira.
    • Provide L3 production support and assist L1/L2 engineering teams with complex incidents.
    • Perform root cause analysis and resolve incidents in accordance with agreed service-level requirements.
    • Monitor and continuously improve system stability, reliability, and performance.
    • Produce runbooks, operational documentation, release notes, and knowledge-transfer materials for support teams.
    • Requirements

      • 8+ years of software development experience, with strong hands-on expertise in integration and API development and demonstrated ownership of solution design.
      • Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Core.
      • Proven experience authoring HLD and LLD documentation and creating UML-based technical designs using Draw.io or equivalent tools.
      • Strong understanding of software and integration design patterns, with the ability to explain architectural decisions and technical trade-offs clearly.
      • Hands-on experience designing event-driven architectures and messaging solutions, including reliability patterns such as retries, dead-letter queues, idempotency, and circuit breakers.
      • Strong experience with Azure Integration Services, particularly Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, and API Management.
      • Experience designing secure, scalable API-led integration solutions.
      • Strong database performance optimization skills, including indexing, execution-plan analysis, and query tuning.
      • Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD, and automated deployment practices.
      • Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working within structured Agile delivery teams.
      • Strong troubleshooting and production-support capabilities, including incident management and root cause analysis.
      • Ability to operate at an architect level while remaining hands-on with development, deployment, and operational support.
      • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts and architectural choices.
      • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with distributed engineering, architecture, delivery, and support teams.
