Role Summary

As a Senior Engineering Manager in the Product Platform Product Line, you’ll lead high-impact product areas that power how customers experience and scale with HubSpot’s CRM. You’ll guide multiple engineering teams building core surfaces used by more than a million users, while shaping the future of AI-powered product experiences. This role blends deep technical leadership with strong product thinking - driving both innovation and operational excellence.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and grow several engineering teams in HubSpot’s CRM Data Visualisation group, which powers the CRM Index Page and its table, board, gantt, calendar, and map views. You’ll deliver high-quality, scalable product experiences across HubSpot’s highest-traffic product surfaces.
- Partner closely with Product, Design, and cross-functional leaders to define and execute roadmap priorities.
- Drive the development and launch of AI Agents, AI-powered features, and AI driven insights that enhance customer value.
- Establish and uphold a high-performance engineering culture, including strong technical standards and accountability, performance management, and career development.
- Contribute hands-on technical leadership, guiding architecture and participating in critical technical discussions across the stack.
- Align teams to support broader CRM platform infrastructure and cross-hub initiatives.
- Navigate ambiguity and drive clarity, enabling teams to move quickly, experiment, and iterate effectively.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience leading and scaling engineering teams (15+ engineers), including team leads and senior technical individual contributors.
- Strong product engineering background, with experience building and scaling SaaS products from early stages through high growth. You have experience shaping feature delivery from early stage validation, to late stage maturity.
- Demonstrated ability to lead full-stack product discussions and influence both frontend and backend architecture.
- Hands-on technical credibility with a track record of contributing to engineering decisions and mentoring teams.
- Experience driving high performance through goal setting, feedback, and performance management.
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments and make informed decisions without complete data.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience partnering across product, design, and engineering.
- Experience leveraging or integrating AI/GenAI into product development workflows or features.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience working on high-scale customer-facing platforms or CRM systems.
- Background in both upmarket and downmarket product experiences.
- Experience building dynamic UI systems, modern frontend architectures, or production quality agentic experiences.

Pay & Benefits
The cash compensation below includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles.
