About the role
Accountabilities:
- Lead the successful technical delivery of customer implementation projects, taking ownership of technical scope, dependencies, risks, milestones, and outcomes.
- Scope, assess, plan, design, configure, implement, test, and document endpoint and cloud technology solutions.
- Lead endpoint migration initiatives, including migrations to Entra ID and tenant-to-tenant transitions.
- Provide deep technical expertise across Microsoft endpoint management and security technologies, including Intune, Autopilot, Windows Hello for Business, Defender for Endpoint/XDR, Azure Virtual Desktop, and Entra ID.
- Translate customer and technical requirements into clear, actionable implementation plans and deployment activities.
- Design and document solution architectures, configurations, processes, standards, and operational procedures.
- Act as the technical lead on customer projects, identifying technology dependencies and ensuring effective coordination across project teams.
- Advise customers on technology capabilities, evaluate features and options, and recommend additional solutions that align with their business and technical objectives.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues, recommend improvements, escalate risks when appropriate, and communicate progress clearly to stakeholders.
- Collaborate proactively with internal teams, external partners, and customer stakeholders throughout project planning and execution.
- Manage assigned priorities in alignment with project schedules while contributing to broader project planning and delivery.
- Develop processes, documentation, and technical standards while sharing expertise and thought leadership across relevant practice areas.
- Stay current with emerging endpoint, cloud, security, and Microsoft technologies and quickly adapt to new technical domains.
- Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, combined with 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Demonstrated experience delivering enterprise endpoint, cloud, or infrastructure implementation projects, with accountability for technical outcomes.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft endpoint and cloud technologies, particularly Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, Entra ID, Windows Hello for Business, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint/XDR, and Azure Virtual Desktop.
- Experience with endpoint migrations, including migrations to Entra ID and tenant-to-tenant migrations.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies, with experience in areas such as Azure Landing Zones, Azure infrastructure, Active Directory, Entra ID Domain Services, SCCM, co-management, OS imaging, and deployment.
- Knowledge of security and compliance configurations and features within Microsoft cloud and endpoint environments.
- Ability to translate complex technical requirements into practical implementation steps and clearly communicate technical risks, impacts, and dependencies.
- Proven ability to design, configure, test, and document enterprise technology solutions.
- Strong customer-facing communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide technical guidance and thought leadership.
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability, sound technical judgment, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving complex issues.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with customers, partners, and multidisciplinary internal teams while managing competing priorities.
- Comfortable learning new technologies quickly and taking ownership of unfamiliar technical areas.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage work effectively against project schedules and delivery commitments.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications are highly valued, including Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty (AZ-140), SC-200, MS-500, AZ-500, and Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate, as well as comparable cloud certifications.
- Experience supporting public-sector or regulated environments is advantageous.
- Certain customer or federal projects may require the ability to obtain a security clearance; U.S. citizenship may be required for positions subject to federal clearance requirements.
- $120,000–$210,000 annual salary range, with final compensation determined by factors including experience, education, training, industry background, and applicable clearance requirements.
