Senior Director – Marketing
The Senior Director – Marketing is responsible for leading the execution and performance of marketing programs that drive pipeline growth, strengthen partner alignment, and support the firm’s Microsoft-based professional services. This role operates as a player-coach, translating go-to-market strategy into actionable campaigns and initiatives in close partnership with sales, partnerships, and delivery teams. Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, this leader owns the marketing function with guidance from executive leadership and plays a critical role in activating joint motions with Microsoft and Cognizant, enabling solution marketing, and ensuring consistent, high-quality execution across all marketing efforts. In alignment with 3Cloud’s leadership expectations, this role contributes to firm-wide strategy, influences cross-functional priorities, and drives measurable business outcomes through marketing excellence.
Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Execution Management
- Lead and develop a team of marketing professionals in a player-coach capacity
- Oversee execution across internal teams and external agencies to ensure quality and consistency
- Drive accountability, prioritization, and continuous improvement across marketing efforts
Performance Measurement & Budget Management
- Own marketing performance metrics, including pipeline contribution, campaign effectiveness, and ROI
- Manage budget allocation across programs and channels, optimizing for efficiency and impact
- Provide regular insights and recommendations to revenue leadership
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Marketing Operations
- Serve as a connector across marketing, partnerships, sales, and enablement to ensure aligned execution
- Partner with adjacent teams in 3Cloud and Cognizant to deliver cohesive and effective campaigns
- Support core marketing operations, including processes, tools, and reporting cadence
- Ensure practical application of brand standards across marketing deliverables
Go-to-Market Execution & Channel Alignment
- Execute go-to-market plans aligned to Microsoft services, priority industries, and sales plays in partnership with revenue leadership
- Collaborate with Microsoft and Cognizant channel teams to activate joint campaigns, co-sell motions, and marketplace opportunities
- Align marketing programs to partner priorities and field engagement models to maximize pipeline impact
- Partner with sales, partnerships, and delivery teams to deliver coordinated, market-facing initiatives
